SWAT 4 is an action-tactical first person shooter game developed by Irrational Games and published by Vivendi Universal Games by the year 2005. In SWAT 4, you will lead a SWAT tactical team in resolving any dangerous situations in society such as freeing hostage and arresting criminals.

In this single player game, SWAT 4 operation takes place in New York City. the player acts as the leader of five-man police SWAT team through some missions. To simulate the realistic procedures, you must follow protocol by not firing suspects with lethal weapons unless they endanger the officers and civilians or hostages. Points are gained based on how successful the team cooperate in every operation. If the hostages are shot by accident, mission fails. So, the task must be executed as safe as possible.

Before a mission starts, a pre-mission briefing describes the condition in details including 911 call record, mission goals, list of available weapons and equipment. After the briefing, the player may choose any equipment for team officers. Top score can be reached by arresting all suspects, rescuing all hostages, reporting all status updates, not suffering any losses and not receiving injury.

• Left click = Shoot
• Right click = Show command menu
• V / C = Flashligh / Crouch
• Shift = Run
